Addiction to substances or destructive behaviors is often coping mechanisms used to deal with one's current view of life's situations. By looking at your behavior, listening to your thinking, and feeling your often reactive emotions, you can change patterns that have been repeating for much of your life. Everyone can change. In order to do so, you need the right motivation combined with the tools and skills you learn in a positive, non-critical environment. Rational Treatment Services could be the place for you.

Here at Rational Treatment Services, we offer a wide range of treatment options for people with drug or alcohol problems or other addictions. Our standard of practice is to develop a specific treatment plan for each person.  This could be individual counseling, group treatment or a combination of both. We work together with the person to adjust the treatment to suit changes taking place with him or her. This way there is usually a positive outcome because the patient is invested in the process.  Since we are DASA approved, we are able to help people navigate through the legal system if such needs are present.

Our program components include:

Individual Counseling
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP):  3 hour group 3 times a week. This may be followed by weeklyaftercare groups for 6 months. This is followed by once a month for a total of 2 years for deferred prosecution cases.  Groups are supplemented with periodic individual sessions.
Outpatient treatment groups: one to two hours each ranging from once a month to twice a week.
Alcohol and Drug Information School: one day event. This class is DASA approved and will qualify if court-ordered.
Suboxone Support Group: Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) is an increasingly available treatment for outpatient opioid detoxification. Physicians prescribing Suboxone all encourage their patients to participate in counseling while on the medication. RTS has weekly Suboxone groups specifically for individuals on Suboxone.
CD Assessment: This helps the clinician and patient to evaluate if and how their addiction is interfering in their life and the treatment plan that will best suit their needs. The CD assessment lasts about one and a half hours. If court ordered, legal paperwork is completed.
Court/Probation monitoring and reporting
